You're invited to COLLAGE REUNION: an audiovisual event collaging together clips of life from the Harvard Class of 2016. This will premiere here on June 5 at 4:00 p.m. Imagine a reunion slideshow but more dynamic and artistic. This project will be produced by musician and First Marshal Reylon Yount, who enjoys finding creative ways to connect communities and will sculpt our content together with original music. The final outcome will be a 15–30 minute communal film featuring our clips of life, as well as sonic highlights from the 16 Artists podcast — a reunion show about sixteen of our disillusioned classmates who dove into uncertainty to chase their creative dreams. The goal is to create a different kind of online gathering — a special moment of reflection and re-connection where we get to share glimpses of our lives with each other.

Join us for a thoughtful discussion with Dr. Anthony Abraham Jack PhD ’16, Assistant Professor of Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (and author of The Privileged Poor: How Elite Colleges Are Failing Disadvantaged Students) on the role of Harvard in perpetuating inequity, and how we as alumni can be part of creating a better future for Harvard and for our broader society.

This year’s historic Annual Meeting will kick off with a special preprogram hosted by the 25th Reunion Chief Marshal Anurima Bhargava AB ’96, followed by the main program, hosted by HAA President John J. West Jr. MBA ’95. The program will include remarks by Harvard University President Lawrence S. Bacow JD ’76, MPP ’76, PhD ’78 and featured speaker Kevin Young AB ’92, the Andrew W. Mellon Director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. The program will also include recognition of the 25th Reunion Chief Marshal and the incoming HAA President, and a celebration of the 2020 and 2021 Harvard Medalists.
